Scott Killian is Vice President, Efficient IT Programs, providing thought leadership on Uptime Institute’s newest initiatives in resource consumption management and reduction. In this role, he surveys the industry for current practices, developing new products to facilitate industry adoption of best practices, and directly delivers consulting at the site management, reporting, and governance levels.

 

Mr. Killian joined Uptime Institute following more than 25 years of experience with proven success in ensuring the availability, reliability, performance, security, and recovery of all systems and networks for organizations including AOL and United Parcel Service. Mr. Killian also acts as Director of the Uptime Institute Network for North America. As Director, he will continue to encourage peer-to-peer learning, as he has for many years participating in the Network through various employers prior to joining the Uptime Institute team

 

Mr. Killian has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem,

Pennsylvania.
