Director, UNEP-DTU Partnership​

John Christensen is the Director of the UNEP DTU Partnership (UDP). He has worked on energy, climate and development issues for the UN Environment Program in different capacities for the last 30 years. The UDP has a staff of approximately 70 professionals engaged in analytical studies and technical assistance activities in more than 50 developing countries.

Current focus of work is on implementation of the Paris Agreement and SDG 7, including co-leading the annual UN Environment flagship Emissions Gap Report. John has in addition had a long involvement with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change (IPCC) where he has been a lead author on five reports and a member of the Bureau for a couple of years.

John was recently appointed as the first Sustainable Development Professor at Yonsei University, in the Republic of Korea.

The Danish Data Center Industry (DDI) is a national industry body representing the Danish data center ecosystem and was born out of the want to make it easier for operators to do business with Denmark.
